| Begins the operation of the irrigation systems of Níjar´s area. |

| The ministry on Environment, Elena Espinosa, has opened the activities of the Níjar´s irrigation system. This project uses the water coming fron the Sea Water Reverse Osmosis plant of Carboneras and irrigates an area of 8.000 Ha where 1.826 users grown all kind of vegetables. |
